People can judge and perceive events by listening to the information called sound. However, deaf people who cannot hear sound find it challenging to hear information. In particular, people often do not hear the sound of dangerous situations or emergencies. Furthermore, they do not listen to nature sounds. So, I would like to create the visualized sound for deaf people. Through this data visualization, I propose the opportunities of visually recognizing sounds for helping and understanding the deaf to get the information.
Collecting Data & Resources
We collect the various sound data through the smartphone. Baby crying, kiss, beach wave, morning birds sound, shouting sound, car horn sound, and Siren sound.
